We've had such a crazy week, so once again, this is going to be a "catch up" blog.
Sometimes a boy plays so hard he just falls asleep!
Josh and the kids came for a visit last Friday. Ranger and Milla love each other, and they also love sharing snacks!
In preparing for surgery, Chad had quite the "honey do" list. One of those items was to set up our Christmas tree. Ranger was pretty excited about the lights!

Callen is getting so big!
On Thursday, Chad had ankle surgery. His ankle has been bad since a motorcycle accident in college. He's even started developing arthritis, so we decided to take care of it sooner rather than later before the ankle got much worse. We also realized that life is just going to get crazier as the boys grow up, so now was as good of a time as any to take care of it!
Chad will be in a cast with crutches for 4-6 weeks, then a walking boot after that for another 4-6 weeks. This weekend he is spending all of his time heavily medicated and in bed with his leg propped up.
At least he has his boys to keep him company!
For those of you that knew about the surgery, thanks for all of the calls, emails & prayers. We so appreciate each one of them!
