Then Addy and Callen wanted to join in too!

The dogs quickly learned that having my boys around meant food crumbs a-plenty!

Callen and DadDad had some giggles...

And Hershey was nice enough to let my boys mess with him all night!

Callen definitely lets us know when it's time to eat. My little climber lets nothing stand in his way...

And, with Megan and Mickey in town, there was a fun reindeer cupcake craft for the kids!

After dinner, we put the boys in their pjs before we all opened one Christmas Eve gift. Ranger wanted to help everyone open!

But of course, Callen was highly interested in boxes, bows & paper...

This picture is a little blurry since it was taken by Chad's phone, but Uncle Mickey drew Ranger's name for our $5 Christmas Eve present, and boy did he hit it big! He gave Ranger a little wind-up pig toy that is now a new favorite in our house. :-)

My sweet little Christmas moose boys!

We slept Christmas Eve night at our house. When we woke up, we discovered that Santa had, in fact, come to see us!

What is going on? Both boys were so confused by the presents below them. Nonnie and Grumpy were also there. It's at this point that Ranger saw his new bike. It was the absolute sweetest moment when he looked up at me with complete awe and said, "Did Santa bring me a bike?" He had never dreamed that Santa would bring him anything other than cupcakes, and he was in complete shock and joy. :-)

THIS is a good morning! Eating a cupcake while sitting on a new bike!

Then it was stocking time!

Callen took everything in quietly and enjoyed a few little treats while watching what everyone else was doing...

His first ride!!

Safety first! (Or, in Chad's words, "how to make your child's big head seem even bigger.")

Then we had a yummy breakfast of Pioneer Woman's homemade cinnamon rolls and a breakfast casserole! Mmmmmmm!!!

After breakfast, we let the boys open their presents from us. Ranger was also able to give his presents to Nonnie, Grumpy & Daddy!

I noticed in several of these pictures that Ranger has a pink smudge on his mouth. That would be from his newly discovered favorite treat...Pez!

Ranger also loved unwrapping his presents. He would get so excited when it was time for a new one. Then he would start ripping the paper, and every single time he said, "Oh! A box!" Silly boy.

For some reason, Callen - my non-reader for sure! - kept wanting his Daddy to read to him while we opened presents. So random!

Callen loved his little activity push cart from Santa...more on this gift a little later. ;-)

A joint gift we gave the boys was a left handed baseball glove. Ranger seems to be primarily right-handed, but seems to want to play baseball left-handed. Callen actually seems to be primarily left-handed. The boys already have a right-handed glove...we just want to make sure all our bases are covered - literally! Ranger has had so much fun with his new glove. Christmas morning he was cracking us up with his antics while catching a ball.

Before church, Callen took a nap while Ranger took a bath with all the new bath toys they received, plus the red bath colors!

After church we were back at Wade and Amber's for food and more presents! The boys had a little lunch...

Then it was time to open! True to form, Ranger wanted to help EVERYONE! :-)

Opening his new bouncy horse from Jerry & Suzanne. This has been a HIT with both boys!

He kept saying, "I'm like Woody and Bullseye!"

Callen wanted a turn too!

"Pete the Cat" is actually Amber's present from Davis, but Ranger loves it too, so Amber let him play with it for a while.

Callen was getting a little sleepy as it was a little past naptime, so he took advantage of one of the cozy puppies and took a little rest. Sandy didn't seem to mind.

Most of Davis' toys were a big hit with Ranger...

But, any gift of technology is a super gift as far as Ranger is concerned!

Megan and Mickey gave the boys this amazing tree house, complete with people, pulleys & buckets! It is so fun, and such a great, unique gift!

But, even with all the gifts around, sometimes a boy just needs a good, old-fashioned game of "Patty-cake!"

While Ranger learned the fine art of shooting firearms!

Alas, on Monday night we discovered Callen found a new use for his activity cart. While no one was looking, he pushed it over to the counter, climbed up, and happily grabbed a container of cupcakes. He brought them to his Daddy as proud as a peacock, which is what tipped us off. Then we watched as his repeated his new feat and tried to make a cup of coffee. Sadly, the elves are coming to take this present back (it's also not well made). But, they have another gift coming that will take it's place!!
