Team Johnston

Ranger had his first soccer game on Saturday!  His team is the Minions, and his coach is the handsome "Coach Gru."

Just a little pre-game instruction...

This first game happened to be at 2:00 (naptime) on a 100 degree day.  Yikes!  Callen & Payton were troopers, though.

Ranger's good buddy, Tripp, had played on the field next to ours, and he stopped by to cheer on Ranger.  :-)

Ranger, and all the Minions, were exhausted at the end of the game, but he is excited to play again this next Saturday.

One of the other soccer moms sent some great pictures she took, and I must say, I'm a little envious of her great shots!

It was a good first game for the Minions, even though we were short a few players and ridiculously hot.  We can't wait to see the next game!
