Road Trippin'

A few times a year we load up the kids and the car and head west for 8 hours to our families' houses.  It's a long drive with 3 little ones - 1 who just finished potty training and 1 who is nursing - but we always enjoy our time there.

Of course there were many pit stops along the way.  The boys made some pretty quick work of it, though.  :-)

The next morning our girl was quite happy to not be in the car again!  She showed us this cheesy smile all weekend!

Grandad & Grandmother were happy to have some time with our kiddoes.

Our kids also enjoyed fun time spent with their cousins.  At Deon's house, they did some baking!

And at Britney's house, there was a snowman craft with powdered donuts.  The snowman didn't last long before they were eaten by my boys.  :-)

And Ranger got in a little target practice with Maverick & Sawyer...

We aren't sure why, but Callen kept taking all of his clothes off.  We've got an exhibitionist on our hands!

Payton spent time playing on the floor and being entertained by her cousins and brothers.

And she got more snuggles when Troy, Ronda, Nima & Papa came for a few hours.

Callen and Ranger served up some yummy food for everyone...

On Sunday before we loaded up in the car for the return trip home, the boys opened a special present.  New Christmas movies and yummy snack mix for the drive home!

The snacks made the first part of our trip quite tasty!

Payton was ready for a nap when we were finally ready to go.

At lunch, we let the boys have a little ice cream treat before getting back in the car.  I think they liked it!

All 3 kids were good little travelers, even though they were exhausted.  Baby Mum-Mums helped Payton stay happy some of the time!

We always enjoy our New Mexico trips!
