November Recap

As usual, life with 3 kids has kept me busy and unable to blog regularly.  So, here is a large post all about November.

Early in the month, we were playing at Nonnie's house.  I caught a picture of one of the many times Ranger & Payton play together during the day.  I love this.

It was also a really mild, sometimes hot, month, so we were able to go on some explorations!

Payton with her favorite super hero.  He'll never let anyone hurt her!

And our Hulk loves his stickers!  Seriously, the kid could play with stickers for an hour.

But even super heroes need to take a break and have a snack!

Another of Payton & Ranger...

On election day Ranger cast his vote for 2 of his favorite people!  Who needs Republicans or Democrats when you've got grandparents!

Ranger caught a fish in the pond near Wade & Amber's house.  He was pretty proud!

Goofy kid...

Family breakfast time!

Unfortunately we also had some sickness in our house during the month, including a bout of croup for Ranger.  Here he is with his daddy breathing in some cold morning air to help break up the cough.

Some friends sent a sweet care package for the boys, and included were these window stickers.  The boys thought it was quite fun!

Megan was in town for an early Thanksgiving and baby shower for sweet Emily.  Here she is with our Payton girl at the shower!

And, true to form, Chad grew tired of his cast a few days before his dr appointment, so he took matters into his own hands...literally.

Here's the x-ray for the bionic man...there's a lot of hardware in there!  We will find out soon if there is any healing.

One night our little Hulk was quite tired while a made dinner.  He wanted me to hold him, and when I couldn't, he just grabbed his turtle and lovey and laid down on the kitchen floor.  So sweet!

Just a sweet picture of my Ranger having breakfast one morning!

I was able to go to Ranger's Thanksgiving feast at school!

Hulk helped me pick up our produce share one Saturday morning.  I've never felt so safe!

Chad has been on short-term disability while his ankle heals, and in honor of that, he has grown quite the disability beard.  He looks like a mountain man!

My sweet blessings on Thanksgiving Day.  We really are so blessed.

Grammy & DadDad were here with us on Thanksgiving Day, and Grammy brought some fun crafts!

DadDad makes a great pillow!

The week of Thanksgiving, our tree went up.  Ranger loved helping me decorate.

And a big milestone of November...Callen is now potty trained!!!  Yay!!  He was definitely ready and potty trained really easily.  It helps that he has an older brother to watch.

Payton was very happy to receive her Nima blanket!!  Now all of our kids have one!!

There's alot of this kid walking around in underwear these days.  What a cutie!

Callen was a little too generous when pouring his snack one afternoon...

Love....

On days when Ranger doesn't nap, he goes to bed before Callen does.  On those nights, Callen has Mommy & Daddy all to himself!

Ranger's first school picture...what a face he is making!

November 30th was 3 months since our Daddy and Grumpy went to heaven.  I haven't been able to go back to his Chick-fil-a until then.  We went as a family and saw everyone that Daddy loved working with and for.  They truly treated us like family.  We will go back, and I know we will be treated just the same.

We enjoyed more time outside...including time at the park and fishing!!  Callen loves to slide!

And Chad took the boys fishing in our neighborhood pond.

We asked the boys to kiss their fish, which Ranger did quite cleanly.

Callen, on the other hand, got a little too friendly with his fish!  Haha!!

Just another month in our little life!
