October continues to be a busy month for our family, and we are soaking in every minute of it!

Ranger has had many opportunities to hunt with Chad, and here are his pictures to prove it!  

And while Chad and Ranger have had fun hunting, I make sure to have a great time with Callen and Payton too.

And we always have fun playing at the park on these sunny, fall days!

There's been plenty of time to go through and reorganize Legos too!

For the first time, I let all 3 kids push their own shopping carts at Market Street.  It was an experience, but they did really well!

With our book "Who Owns the Sun," we studied the food groups.  It was actually a win-win:  the boys learned more about healthy eating, and all of the food from our play kitchen was cleaned and organized!

Also part of our learning is our once a month co-op.  The kids are learning about a new country one Friday each month.  We rotate through homes, and October was our month to host.  RaeAnn and I taught the kids a little about Mexico.  There were stories, games, videos, food, and plenty of playtime!

And then last week we read "Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel."  The boys worked on their own foundations and made sure they were "neat and square."  :-)
