Happy Easter!

We had another wonderful Easter this year!  We have traditionally hosted Easter at our house, so the kids always look forward to many of our family coming over.  We had spent our week learning about Jesus during his last week leading up to his death and resurrection.  I love watching and listening to my kids as they learn more and more about God and his plan!

We even grabbed a family photo!!

I always wait to give my kids their Easter baskets until after church so that they aren't obsessed with it while we are trying to get ready in the morning.  They know it is from Mommy and Daddy and not an Easter bunny, and it's fun to have our family around when they go through them.

Payton was very intently showing Wade all of the items from her basket.  :-)

Once everyone arrived, it was time to enjoy a wonderful lunch!  Everyone pitched in, so lunch was easy and delicious.

It was cold and wet outside, so my kids waited anxiously upstairs while Addy and Davis hid the eggs downstairs.

Nothing like an inside Easter egg hunt!

Payton found her pink eggs...

Callen hunted the blue ones...

While Ranger tracked down all the greens!

Payton found a new bow in one of her eggs and promptly stuck it in her hair.

Opening them up to see what's inside!

Payton ate almost all of her treats in one sitting.  It was like she was so shocked that I was allowing her to keep eating that she was afraid to stop!  It was so hilarious.  But, there wasn't a ton to begin with, and really...I would rather it all be gone in a day or two rather than sticking around for weeks.

Grammy and Payton Girl...she may have been on a sugar high.
