The youth minister at our church, Jared, brought over his pet turtle Bowser one afternoon for the kids to play with while he processed a deer with Chad.
The kids were THRILLED! Callen was especially excited because a turtle is his favorite animal. :-)
Bowser turned out to be a pretty cool guy. He likes to eat eggs and fruit and even took some from the kids hands...
He just walked around the yard, enjoying the sun and didn't seem to mind the kids one bit. The kids are already hoping he comes for another visit very soon!
