We have had SO MUCH RAIN this Spring and early Summer, so it seems like it took us longer to make it to the pool than usual.  But, we made it, and the kids had a wonderful time for their first swim in the neighborhood pool!

We also enjoyed bowling one day with our friends!  

And sometimes I just need pictures of Payton because she's so amazing and beautiful.  :-)

And sometimes I just need pictures of Callen because he's so ridiculous.  Ha!  In his defense, Daddy put Payton's Frozen night gown on him.

During a fun swimming afternoon at the Moores' house, the sweet kids even washed my car!

The kids are also having morning Bible reading time every day, which is so important for all of us.  It's only 15 minutes, but it's a great discipline to teach early.  It holds me accountable as well!  I get up and read before the kids are awake, but I know that we are all reading every day as a family.

The library is always a fun treat, and we have been able to go more regularly with a more relaxed summer schedule.  

The day before the public schools let out for the summer, we went to visit Nonnie at her school...and brought Sonic drinks!

We also have a new addition to our home!  A fun, new (to us!) play set for the back yard!  Chad and Blake worked hard to set it up.  

It was left in the back yard of Wade and Amber's new house, and they gifted it to our kids.

It's so fun!!

The perfect breakfast spot...when it's not too hot...or there aren't too many mosquitoes.  Grrrr...

And of course, we are keeping the family movie nights going once a week, usually on a Friday, but occasionally on a Saturday.  The kids LOVE this tradition and help me set everything up each week.  :-)

Our summer is off to a wonderful start!
