After many rain outs, our Rangers baseball team was able to finish out the season.  It was the hottest day we've had so far, but they played hard! I love that the boys just enjoy playing and have fun being on the field.  I'm a little nervous about the next season when we start keeping score!  Ha!

My cute guy waiting for his pitch:

She loves watching for and cheering for her brother!

A little fatherly advice at the plate

Running home!

Then he did a front flip...

And his daddy kicked him in the booty.  I think it actually surprised them both when Ranger tumbled down and scraped his knees.  We made a joke out of the picture later, though, and surprised Chad with a Fathers Day coffee mug with this on it.  Hopefully they can both look back on this fondly now!

Just a little Daddy love...

Game over!

Then it was trophy time!

And I snapped this picture right after Ranger dropped his trophy and broke it.  He was so heartbroken.  He was also so exhausted...he tried so hard to be a big guy and not cry.  It was sad and funny at the same time.  Thankfully, Brad had an extra trophy, so all was good again.  :-)

Another great season for a coach and his kid...

Love these two buddies!

Of course, the kids mostly love snack time.

Ranger had Nonnie there!

And Grammy and DadDad too!

It's nice to have a little break during the hot summer months, but we look forward to playing again in the fall!
